Savarese Italian Pastry Shop was established in 1918, when the Savarese family traveled from Naples, Italy bringing with them the art, quality and tradition of fine Italian baking.
In 1962, the Giura family ,who came from the same region in Italy, purchased Savarese and have been dedicated and committed to continue its tradition of baking with excellence ever since. After 45 years, they permanently established Savarese's reputation for creating delectable and traditional desserts reminiscent of old world Italy.
Mario Giura, owner and master pastry chef, oversees the workmanship of our traditional pastry shop and gelateria. He and his staff take pride in creating incredibly delicious and artistically beautiful works of art with each product that is baked.
Excellence and authenticity of all of our recipes and baked goods has been passed down from generation to generation. We always have and continue to use only the freshest and finest ingredients in our products which are all baked on premises. Our bakers and pastry chefs continue to use old methods of hand crafted baked products using no mixes or preservatives.
